2.2. Unauthorized Minor Usage

If a minor accesses the Service without valid parental consent:

• The parent/guardian is responsible for any consequences of such unauthorized use
• We may immediately terminate the account without notice

• The parent/guardian shall indemnify us against any claims or damages arising from such unauthorized use

While we do not actively verify users' ages, we reserve the right to:

3.1. Service Modes

The Service offers two primary modes of interaction:

• Journal Mode: Features for personal journaling, mood tracking, and AI-assisted reflection
• Chat Mode: Direct conversation with our AI for general discussion, questions, and assistance

While we strive to provide helpful insights and responses in both modes, you acknowledge that all AI responses are suggestions only and should not be considered as professional advice.

3.2. Content Privacy

Your journal entries and chat conversations are private by default. You maintain ownership of all content you create, and we implement security measures to protect your personal information. However, you grant us a limited license to process your content for providing the Service's features.

4.1. Data Processing

We process your journal entries and chat conversations using AI technology to provide personalized insights and responses. This processing is done in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Your content is not used to train our AI models unless you explicitly opt-in to such use.

5.1. Content Guidelines

While your journal entries and chat conversations are private, you agree not to use the Service to:

• Store or process content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
• Generate harmful, abusive, or malicious content through the chat interface
• Attempt to manipulate or exploit the AI system
• Share sensitive personal information of others without consent

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

6.1. AI Limitations

Our AI technology is designed to provide journaling assistance, insights, and helpful chat responses, but it is not a substitute for professional services of any kind. If you need professional support (including but not limited to mental health, legal, or financial advice), please consult qualified professionals.

6.2. Third-Party AI Providers

Our Service employs a combination of in-house AI processing and trusted third-party AI technologies. While some processing is handled internally, we also utilize services from trusted third-party providers such as, but not limited to, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Your content may be processed by both our internal systems and these third-party AI providers to deliver the Service's features
• These providers have their own privacy policies and data handling practices
• While we carefully select our providers and ensure they maintain high security standards, we rely on their systems for proper data handling and storage
• Data processing by these providers is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies

6.3. Chat Interactions

When using the chat mode, you acknowledge that:

• Responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate or appropriate
• The AI may not understand context or nuance in all situations
• You should not share sensitive personal information in chat mode
• Chat history may be retained for continuity but can be deleted at your request

8.1. Data Export

Upon termination, you may request an export of your journal entries and chat history within 30 days. After this period, we may permanently delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies.
